About Psymétrik

Psymétrik has been working for over 20 years in the field of psychometrics. Our passion for tests is what drives us. Our success resides in our well-known Career Orientation Guide (GROP), recognized and rewarded by the Ordre des conseillers et conseillères d’orientation du Québec. Now widely used, the GROP has become a fundamental tool for many school and career guidance counselling specialists, as well as human resources professionals.

Psymétrik’s mission is to help people achieve a better awareness of themselves. To achieve this goal, the company supports the efforts of professionals in career guidance, psychology, and human resources by offering them innovative psychometric tools and training services. Jacques Roy, Guidance Counsellor, President
Research and Development Coordinator

With Psymétrik from its beginnings, Jacques Roy belongs to the team which built the company and occupies the position of president.  This experienced guidance counsellor he is responsible for the research and development of the company’s psychometric tools.

A graduate of Université Laval with a degree in School and Career Guidance Counselling, Jacques worked with students for over 25 years at the Des Découvreurs School Board. In 1997, he left his work as a guidance counsellor to focus entirely on researching and developing the Career Orientation Guide (GROP).

Caroline Roy, Psychologist, Administrator
Professional Services Coordinator

With Psymétrik for over10 years, Caroline is mainly responsible for the quality of our professional services through the trainings offered by the company, as well as our customer services. She is also involved in the research and development of products and services.  In addition, she offers her services as a psychologist at Psymétrik.
Caroline has a degree in Psychology from Université Laval and five years’ experience working in youth employment centers.

Mélanie Roy,Administrator
Administrative Officer
Mélanie joined the company in 2002 after a number of years in the field of teaching. She is in charge of client services, administration, material resources, and accounting.

Sandra Piperni, Career Counsellor
Sandra joined the Psymétrik team in 2008.  She is an accredited trainer for the GROP test and also works on the development of the English sector.  She has a degree in Educational Counselling from the University of Ottawa. She has over eight years’ experience in employment organizations and provides career counselling and coaching in private practice.

Nathalie Perreault, Career Counsellor
Nathalie is an accredited trainer for the GROP test and also works on the development of the English sector.  She has many years experience in the development of tools and content in the career counselling field, such as the website OrientAction.ca.  She also teaches at Université Laval.

Françoise Barras, Scorer
Françoise has been with our team from the start. She now works part-time scoring tests.

Sylvie Boucher, Scoring Manager
Sylvie has been with Psymétrik since 2001. She is responsible for all test scoring.

Brigitte St-Amant, Scorer
Brigitte joined the Psymétrik team in 2008. She works as a test scorer.
